About Us

 

Arian Pony Stud was established in 2018 by Jaime and Rima Marurai in the sunny Wairarapa. 

 

"I had always wanted to follow my dream of breeding Welsh and Welsh Part Bred show ponies, life is too short to not live your dream so here we are!"

First and foremost, we breed kids ponies! From the smallest Welsh Mountain Pony to the largest part bred welsh, riding pony and warmblood pony. 

 

We have a number of stallions that we stand at public stud as well as a bank full of frozen semen to use in the future.  We also utilize other stallions from around the country and overseas to make sure we are putting the right combinations together to produce a foal that is conformationally correct with a lovely temperament and can hold its own in the show arena.  

 

We only breed a small number of foals every year and offer every single one of them for sale to the right home, so don't forget to check out our For Sale page.  We don't have to the room to produce them all and would rather see them out there enjoying life rather than being pretty paddock ornaments.
